I have waited three years for this moment… this peony “bush” has taken that long to get strong enough to flower. (Just click on the pic to see it in all it’s glory)
It made me think about patience. How, sometimes, we have to wait for what we want. Not everything is a “now” thing. I accidently caught the sun reflecting off the bloom this evening. No, it was not my intent. Somehow I was “guided” to take it at exactly that moment. When I looked at it, an hour later, I was stunned at how pretty it is.
Having patience is a skill. We need to train ourselves to do what is necessary (in this case, nurture and feed) for as long as it takes for the true beauty of the moment.
